Work Description: One Bedroom apartment in Greenwich Village which was not painted for many years. The ceilings and corners of the wall were cracked and in bad shape. The painter suggested to use a strengthening mesh before plastering so that the painting job would last much longer. He also suggested to remove the old paint using peel away from the doors and frame to give it a smooth new door finish. Now that the job is completed, my apartment looks brand new and everyone has been admiring the paint job
Comments: It was a pleasure to deal with TAKO Painting, because they are true gentlemen, father and son of Polish desent, where they take great pride in their work and never argue or cause stress. They also accepted hearing small corrections well. It was very refreshing for me to deal with these painters who showed great integrity. I highly recommend them.

Comments: We’re very pleased with the wonderful paint job this father and son team did in our apartment. They were professional and pleasant to deal with from the initial phone call to the completion and clean-up phase. We appreciated their patience and helpfulness in our selection and sampling of paint colors. When there was a minor uncertainty on their part about the instructions we had left for them, they immediately called for clarification of exactly what we wanted. They even offered to come back for adjustments in the event that we discover problems with the colors in different lighting or touch-ups after our move!! Comments: It is with no reservations that I highly recommend Tako Painting. Rusty and Tadeusz do excellent work! They spent a lot of time repairing water damaged plaster and dry wall, as well as fixing the walls in my kitchen after removing wall paper that was put up over 20 years ago! They did a superb job and everything looks fantastic. I would have no hesitations about calling them up for future work.

Comments: This is a very professional company, and I wholeheartedly recommend them all the way. they took the time to do every phase of the job right. After careful preparation (moving some furniture, covering the floors etc), they proceeded with the plastering (sometimes several layers), sanding, then several layers of trim-coats, primer, two coats of paint etc. and the result is outstanding. very much worth the price, considering the man-hours and the result. Always on time, working on Sundays if I asked them to. They were reliable and made sure I was satisfied. Thank you for making this possible.
